Cape Coral homeowners usually manage a municipal trash cart and recycling cart through the city's contracted collection system. Even after the waste is picked up, sticky liquids, loose food debris and residue can cling to cart lids and bottoms, especially during Florida's warm months.
The City of Cape Coral says residential properties receive a tan cart for household garbage and a green cart for recycling. The carts are assigned to the home, so keeping both clean matters for long-term everyday use as well as property turnover.
City guidance says garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk collection are coordinated on the assigned collection day. Actual pickup days depend on the address and holiday schedule. NTBC confirms an independent cleaning date after it checks provider capacity; a cleaning appointment is not automatically the day of municipal pickup.
Before a confirmed NTBC visit, empty both carts and leave them in the accessible location specified in your appointment instructions. The cleaning team needs safe access and enough room for its equipment.

Whether bins are stored near a garage, behind a privacy fence or outside along the side of a home, damp weather and food residue can make them unpleasant to handle. Owners can use scheduled cleaning to address buildup on cart interiors, lids and touch points.
Neighborhood and HOA programs may help coordinate a more efficient route. Gated access and common-area restrictions must be disclosed during the availability review.

Treatment helps reduce microorganisms on cleaned surfaces and address odor-causing residue; no service can guarantee a germ-free bin.
Dirty cleaning water is contained for responsible handling rather than intentionally left running along a street or driveway.

First cleaning: New recurring plans begin with a first cleaning at the standard one-time rate ($59.95 for two eligible bins), then use the discounted plan rate for subsequent visits. Extra eligible bins are $10 each. The rate shown for a recurring plan is the price for subsequent visits, not the first cleaning.
Every residential visit requires at least two eligible trash and/or recycling bins. Additional eligible bins at the same address may be added to the scheduled visit. All cleaning dates remain subject to local availability confirmation.
